Innovative and results orientated, Winnipeg’s Composites Innovation Centre (CIC) is a one-stop resource for the development, funding and widespread application of composites technology.

Since 2003, the CIC has helped guide projects from idea to reality and thanks to an increase in government funding; the CIC will continue to meet the current and future demands for composites head on.

In November, the federal and provincial governments increased funding for the CIC for the next four years to $11.6 million from the $6.6 million that it received for the previous four years.

The CIC is a not-for-profit corporation that is jointly sponsored by private industry and government.
